Will tailgate from 2006-07 work with 05 with no roof ariel

Im thinking about gettin a whole new tailgate from a 06 or 07 gti as my high level brake light is out my boot handle has whiteworm and my wiper motor is faulty so i would be cheaper getting the whole thing on ebay only problem might be that my car has the ariel in the back windscreen i think will i need to swap the glass or would i be better swapping the parts i need onto my old one

Brake light can be done yourself for about £30.
I bought a new 2 piece boot handle release for £35 off Hurdy, but they are often on e bay, or some members here have them from when they do the reverse camera mod.
Not sure about the rest, though it sounds like a lot of hassle if you have the built in aerial installed. and as there would be nothing wrong with the actual boot, I don't really think it makes much sense to change the whole thing over.

Get a quote off one of those windscreen replacment companies for swaping the glass over.

its about £35 for the brake light £80 for a boot handle brand new and about £90 for a new wiper motor i can get a new tailgate for £80 on ebay would just need to swap the parts over to save the hassle with the glass
