Reverse camera basics

Hi guys, I've just spoke to Darren and he says Iam running earlier firmware in order to stop battery drain issues. Which is for the best I think!

a lot of people prefer your FW version for the camera as on the later versions it stretches the image a bit and makes it look a bit weird

Don't be silly Darren thankyou very much for fitting it, the amount of effort was unbelievable but it all worked out in the end! And is working brilliant now! Just getting used to it!

Steve no boot was shut mate I think it may have been something to do with the sensor in the gear selector not communicating fully with the camera???? and especially if the 1100f/w is a bit buggy with the camera.

Was the boot still open when you where trying it?

Have taken your advice guys & dolls and found a wall to reverse into (not literally!) and kept getting out to get the distance I was away. Once you get used to it it's great. This sounds daft aswell but I found it hard to get exactly between the lines when reversing into a space if there was noone adjacent, but with the camera you can line it up perfectly! Very impressed with it.
