What are R32 Cloth Recaro buckets worth?

Hi guys. I am currently in talks with a guy who is looking to sell some cloth buckets from his R32 Golf, Thing is, I have not seen many people with these for sale, so not sure what to offer him, he has said that he wants a standard leather interior in part ex and some cash his way, what would you offer for these on top of leather seats?

Two tone grey (same as GTI outer and darker inserts) and very nice indeed, Red Robins were the same seats, ask if he has a piccy?

I suppose to the right person they would be worth more than the leather, as joe says ive only ever seen one other set and that was Robins! I would be interested to know what they will fetch as im currently getting a Pirelli itch and may have to scratch it sooner or later?!?!?  :happy2:

Full leather interior with Recaro buckets usually go for around £1800 - £2000 cash(I know these are cloth so price could differ not seen a set go before!), A full leather standard GTi/R32 interior normally go for around £800-1000 iirc. Its awkward to say really! What condition are the cloth seats in?  If i was guessing I would reckon you want to be giving him the leather + £750 - £1000 dependant on condition.

Don't quote me on any of that they are just rough estimates from my experience of having a couple of sets of these seats!

I wouldnt disagree to much with that Ben, just start low and get him to bid you up! :happy2:
I would offer him a leather trim plus £400 and see what he makes of that?

Yeah definately start lower, the worst he can say is no! He may not know what they are worth anyway so he may accept! Definately worth a try though

If they're out of someone I know's old Grey R32, they're immaculate.. they're the only set I've seen other than RRs.

I just found a few pics of the R32 ones on google, and must say, I am not that keen on the look of them, if I did have them then I would probably get them trimmed like VC has,
The seller says that there is a bit of wear on the bolsters from getting in and out.
Though as luck may have it, I may have found a genuine set of the cloth GTI buckets as well.

Me too and I agree they are a great upgrade! If I get a Pirelli though I think I will stick with the standard trim and sell the Buckets on! :happy2:
