Yeh i was hoping for a clear evening to see some of these too - reckons best time is between midnight and dawn, but might see some a little earlier.

Hopefully its gonna clear as at the moment its cloudy and horrible here :(

Tuesday night was immensly clear. Was up at Cow and Calf rocks in Ilkley and it was just brilliant.

Cow and Calf, that brings back some memories....I grew up in menston and haven't been back for years.....er decades  

Perseid meteor shower is normally pretty good if you can get up high and away from the ambient lights of a city, best place I've seen them is from a camp site o/s Keswick....amazing skies

Me neither, the skies of Yorkshire were lovely and clear too and we saw nothing

Well I watched for about 30 mins out of my bedroom window and saw seven, not exactly a shower, but still looked cool

Was full of cloud and rain last night :/
The meteors will show again tonight but outlook is the same.
