21 day ticket and foglight fine?
« on: August 12, 2010, 01:44:03 pm »
Hi folks,

Just wondering what happens if you don't reply to a vehicle defect form within 21days, I've stupidly forgot to send it off  :chicken:?

Another one is I've got a mate who uses his fogs religously and eventually got fined but, he has not paid the 30 quid.....what will happen to him?

Cheers

Max

Yup, he will get a summons,
Has anyone asked him why he uses his foglights religiously? I can't stand them, and although I do not ticket people for them, I give them words of advice on why they should not be used unless limited visability, though sure it goes straight out the other ear!

They dont benefit you from driving round with them on, I can see how people think they look good. Just cost him even more now hes not paid it (court fees etc).

I agree - I very rarely use fog lights TBH.
I much prefer the LED lights on Audi's - they look great!

I love the Audi LED DRL's too but couldn't fit them to my GTI without alterations to the crash bar so I fitted the Hella DRL's in place of the fogs. Got stopped once so far by the Police who on inspection accepted they were proper dedicated and legal DRL's and apologised for taking my time.. No problem.

21 days for a VDRS?

Don't you mean 14!!! 7 to produce your docs but a total of 14 to have you vdrs form stamped by an MOT testing station having rectified the issue.
