Fiscon Fitters
« on: August 13, 2010, 01:32:30 pm »
I know a few guys do mobile fitting, I am in Bournemouth so does any fitters live near here or are there any recomended places to go near to my location.

I have a 58 Pirelli GTI with RNS 510, mfsw and Highline (red DIS). Am i right in thinking the Fiscon Plus is the kit i need. I would buy the kit and fit myself but i know it has to be coded with vagcom which i have no access to.
If there are any fitters near by what am i looking at for the parts and fitting.

Also my Dad has a 2010 Caddy with RNS 310, highline (red DIS) but know mfsw. What kit would he require and again whats the price for parts and fitting.

Many thanks for any help and if your a fitter from up north i would still value your input/opinions.

Ta Matt

vrStu is probably the nearest so might be worth PM'ing him.

As for the caddy I don't think there is much you can do as you need either a RNS or mfsw to to be able to use the integrated kits, so maybe something like a parrot kit with separate screen might be your best option.

I'm in Folkestone if you fancy a drive and Stu can't fit you in and have VCDS.

I fitted the Basic Plus kit in my vRS. I also did a tutorial on here on how to fit it.

Cheers guys.

The Caddy has RNS but the 310 not the 510, any experience with the 310?

Thanks carl may take you up on that. Do you have the equipment so i can use the mfsw and see all info on the DIS?

How do you mean use the MFSW? You don't use the MFSW for it you use the Wiper Stalk & RNS for all the operation of it :happy2:

Once it is all coded you will see all the options including the AD2P, PhoneBook and E-MFA add on through the DIS Highline

You would need to speak direct to Fiscon UK as to what would be needed for the Caddy :happy2:

Thanks for the reply. With regard using the mfsw i thought you could use the up/down arrows to select phonebook etc on the DIS then again to select the person to call, before pressing ok to make and end the call. Not sure what you mean if you cant do this and have to use the indicator storks.

You may be able to on the newer MFSW. All the ones i have done have been on cars with no MFSW.

If you control the menu from the MFSW then i can't see why it won't control the functions of the Fiscon :happy2:
