Milltek over Blueflame every time for me, customer service and after sales support is 1000x better. I have changed 2 Blueflame systems for millteks recently after the Blueflame exhausts have had problems that the manufacturers failed to resolve or even aknowledge existed.

I went for the bluflame over the miltek because at the time miltek seemed to be having loads of downpipe failures. The blueflame has a real nice noise, with no droan at steady rpms eg motorway ect, which is perfect ! Everybody seems to be commenting on how loud it is, but if I'm honest I'd turn it up a notch if I could.

If you want the swoosh noise with out loosing power like from a dump valve get yourself an itg intake, they make great power and when pressing off you get a high pitch sucking noise, on lift off as the air is forced back through the intake it makes a loud kutchoooo noise, it's feckin brill, defo one of my fav mods !

Go and hear them both in real life and make a decision after that. Too many people make a decision on an exhaust without even hearing them in real life. More so with the APR as there aren't as many around for people to hear.

I can only compare Milltek and APR. A friend has the Milltek on his Mk V GTI, and qualty doesn't match the APR RSC i have on mine.
Wether you go Blueflame or APR, I would say your decision should be based upon how much you want to hear inside the car, the RSC system effectively eliminates the drone from inside the car. There's no valve but a box that eliminates any drone sounds produced by the engine, for a daily drive, longer trips you cant put a price on the comfort of this system, just my two pences  :happy2:

My head hurts from all the thinking! This is the problem I have as all my friend s have mk 2's, 3's or 4's.. I don't know anyone with a mk5 modified or an a3/s3 with exhausts! The nearest I'd get to hearing em is YouTube and that doesn't do any justice, lol!

Everything that Danish is saying is correct.

Well, are there any tuners near you? Quite often they run demo cars with exhausts on, e.g. Tuningwerkes in Croydon (who supply both APR and Milltek) were running the RSC on their Golf GTI, and previously JKM had a Resonated Milltek on Kate's car..

I actually know Rueben who owns Tuningwerkes. I was there today getting My APR Stage 1, WALK, AP Coilovers and my Forge Twintake. I've heard the APR zaust and that's what made me want it! the buil quality, desing and the sound is brilliant but, the price tag is bonkers  :sad1:!

Tuningwerkes is my closest then AMD, The Phirm and then JKM!!

I live in Streatham, South West London!! :happy2:

APR RSC is so different to the Miltek....alot of tech gone into it's development....mental sound at full chat lovely and quiet at motorway speeds.

I've had both Miltek and APR...both good but the APR is superbly made and sounds much nicer.
