All you need now is my old GTi brakes (front and rear) and my original Gti Springs I had on. (All covered 17K miles).  :happy2:

Ha!

I was just thinking about springs..

Will these offer an more low than the standard 1.6 springs, and will they fit?

:congrats: They look Great Stu  :pomppomp: :pomppomp: :pomppomp: The bright silver BBS looks great against the grey bodywork

I am not sure about my GTi springs fitting your car TBH mate. There is a good chance they will, but you need to check first.

It will look amazing when it is lowered buddy  :happy2:

Thanks Monte!

I am very pleased with the look of the car now but do just need to get it lowered...

I'm thinking along the lines of maybe H&R or VW racing springs. 20/30mm ish!

The BBS Reps look loads better than the standards although I'm not a fan if silver alloys! IMO, they would look fantastic in anthracite against the great colour of your car. Just my opinion, feel free to ignore me  :signLOL:

I have been thinking about colours and anthracite (or maybe a bit lighter than anthracite) has been on my mind when i look at changing the colour of them as there is no paint on the back edges so need to get them protected!

Looks great on the new rims. Did they take the standard wheel bolts ?.Noticed you have the orginal vw nut covers.

Gene - To be honest i'm not entirely sure its a job for the weekend and seeing as i'm hardly using my car at the moment its not worrying me. They are indeed the original bolts the tyre fitters re-used. I will take a wheel off at the weekend and find out if the collars are indeed the same. If not... new wheel bolts it is!
