Update:
Hi guys,
Well, today I fitted my new Sachs uprated performance clutch at work... What a flipping palava!!! Me and my mate Solid set of on fitting it (with Solid doing most of the work). Got the driveshaft, Intake, battery and box out in 30 mins which I thought was bloody quick! Then looked at the old clutch and flywheel and, the old clutch was ******ed! It has warped into a different shape which caused it the not to make 100% contact with the Flywheel, hence the slipping! The old Flywheel was actually not as bad as I thought it would be but, just for piece of mind changed it!
Then, thought it all went Pete Tong!! Started the Car once it had all been boxed up and, Solid said there was a fierce vibration once the car had been engaged and, a very strong smell of clutch! My whole mood changed after that.. I was gutted! So we had to lift it up again, pull it all apart again and checked to see if we had done it wrong! All was bolted on and put together fine so boxed it all up again and, when Solid fired it up as I didn't want to look or listen he did so and, when I opened my eyes and uncovered my ears he was gone! So all must have gone well as he was gone for 20 mins.. Then I heard the loud decat roaring through the u derground Car park and saw my baby driving fine! Solid had a huge smile on his face and shouted "I love it"! Then there was slot of smoke coming from the Bonnet so, jumped out and looked under and it was the coolant temp sensor. The clip had broken and therefore the sensor had come free from the housing and all the coolant had gone! So got a new o-ring, clip and 2 bottles of coolant and all was good again!
