Parts:
8P0 802 845 Front Left Jack Pad - 1 of required
8P0 802 846 Front Right Jack Pad - 1 of required
8N0 804 583 Rubber Buffers - 4 of required
8P0 802 847 Plastic Jack Pad Plugs - 2 of required.

Cost: is around £40 including vat (hard to say as i got discount and bought a few items), plus cost of yellow tape

There is also a Audi TT kit which is cheaper but you dont get the covers for the front which i think is important as it covers the underside , plus they sit higher up in the holders part numbers below

Parts:
8N0 804 583 Rubber Buffer - 4 off required
8N0 803 855 Plastic Securing Plugs - 4 off required
Cost: £20.72 incl VAT @ 17.5%

These are a great mod, seen them before and really surprised they don't happen more often.   Nice work Shaun.  :drinking:

took me about 20 mins, you just pop the old cover off on the backs, insert the rubber bung, it does need a jack to pop them into place (i put a socket bit in the middle to help) , then you insert the plastic bit and again use the jack to pop it into place, done for the back  :happy2:, the front is a matter of removing the plastic cover as in the picture (it helped to remove the surround as well, its just held on with two torx screws), then again you push the rubber bung in place with a jack, then insert the plastic cover/ jack point (this part is two parts  combined), done  :happy2:

What's the reason for the yellow tape?

Probably for dumb spanner monkeys to see where the jacking points are.

What's the reason for the yellow tape?

Its so you and mechanics can easily see where they are  :happy2: , not a necessity but nice to have all the same

Cool thanks. I fitted the TT ones about a month ago and did wonder about leaving the cover off. It will be fun getting them out now :sad1:

:congrats: Great mod Blue, and definitely worth the money IMO. I have had the car up-n-down loads since I got it.

I have always thought that someone should come up with a mod to make better jacking points for a trolley jack. Lets face it the "widow-maker" jacks in the boot are dangerous  :scared:

If only there was a better location for the axle stands I have. The shape they are, are a real pain. They don't fit anywhere easily.
