Yep its a rip off. Mine was missing the book also and had to order a new one from VW as there were none on Ebay at the time. You do get the inserts also for your model year but still alot of money of a leather binder and some paper!

Since my 05 got stolen over a year ago, i got a spare with all the booklets.  :happy2:

Yeah mine came with the rubbish normal Golf one (05 plate) but someone who worked at VW got me a GTI one   :innocent:  Odd that some have them and others don't...
