Yup.. I know exactly what happenned and why...  During the S3 Intercooler install, my brother-in-law removed the coolant hose next to the air intake by mistake.  We reclamped it but had to pull it slightly so reconnect it.  What happenned was that unbeknown to us, the hose when pulled was rubbing slightly against the radiator fans and over the next week was gradually cut away until it burst on my run today  :sad:

Not too much of a problem in that its only a hose replacement thats needed, but as I'm getting an oil/filter change and spark plugs this week at VW, so may as well get the Master Tech to take a look - he knows what he's doing as he's an enthusiast and built his own Mk2 1.8T conversion.  I am thinking that the hose may have been secured by clamps which may have come off.
