Nice i have done a bit of looking around and a gain of 21-25mph from the 1/8mile is quite normal for cars around 350-420hp be it 4wd or fwd.So maybe it is right considering we had a tail wind to.Must have more power than i thought lol.

I can't believe how flat that appears, no digging its backside in and lifting the front. Did you do anything in particular, or is it all talent & those fancy engine mounts?

Haha.. The rear is quite stiff, and I have about 10mm of rake in the car.. Also the solid lower mount means that there is almost no movement in the engine and gearbox, which helps traction etc..

Also modulating the power in 1st, once it was in 2nd I had enough traction to use all of the power.. Also the DSG makes for a very efficient smooth gear change..

Mine made 23mph from 1/8 to the 1/4 mark, so you're not wrong....

How did you lot go against similar powered stuff like STs and VXRs?

only 2 st's ran and 1 vxr astra from memory, a few were there at the pod, but they all spectated !!!. chickens!

They were all in the mid 14's as far as I could tell.. The GTI's spanked the other cars for sure..

There was a black VXR getting low 14's towards the end of the day to be fair. Stage 3 (300bhp) afaik..

Think this was the best of my day, had better reaction times, trap speeds and 60ft just couldn't put them altogether on the same run.
Think I had about 10 runs but after the snow with less cars there its easy to keep going round, I went up against the white Revo TT 4 times 
I'm Happy with the 13.83 but really have to practise the launch control, using a pole to hold the brake with my left hand and reving with my right hand, you've gotta grab the wheel pretty f***ing quick.

Apparantly that silver Scirocco that was there yesterday ran a 14.2 and it's STANADARD!!!
