AC REMOVED
BRAKES
MISC SOUND DEADENING REMOVAL

Sorry to go sliiiiightly off topic but you doing this yourself? plan on doing this.  A/c doesnt make me go any faster hehe
Know how easy / hard it is to do (and to put the thread back off track) how many milli seconds you'll shave off your best Lol.

hello all, saturday was awesome and happy i met most of you 

my best was a 14.6 so im happy with that concidering the weather and the fact id never run before 

unfortunatly me and phil never got to race, we got to start line and then got told to move back as it was SNOWING too hard  but the paper doesnt lie phil 

cant wait to get back there in better conditions and with the front half of the zorst finished

convoy down was bloody good, i think there was about 10 of us, but i got held up at the toll so ended up doing WARP speed to catch up with billyboy 

cant wait for the next one, wanna set dates

Hey, its not a massive job.. It will be getting done by VWR the next time the car is in, along with a load more bits..

Should save about 20kg's

Just realised that the black Ed30 that looked really nice was yours Joe... I had no idea.

The first time - for my wife's cousin - seems strange as the 1/4 mile speed is 113mph for my car and a 13.67s finish but then Ben's car got 13.4s and a speed of 109mph?!  Doesn't make sense to me unless my car had a sudden burst of energy at the last point or something?! Or Ben slowed down just before the finish.. both scenarios are unlikely so I'm not sure what to make of it.

I did a 13.2 @ 111mph in the end Illyun, which shows that you have more power (Extra mods including HPFP, EVOMS, Stage 2+ etc will see to that) and i'm confident on the right run (better tyres etc) you will easily match, if not beat 13.2 mate..   You've got a nice collection of mods there mate and I was a bit livid I missed you sunday, to many cars there..

Is that what they set it up on mate when you had the Stage 2 + done? If so you're right, they did't know much about it.. 
You want to be on at least 7 or 8 IMO..

No, that was as per my instructions as I don't want to work the turbo at 100% all the time - only at events like the pod.  I had my Select Plus in the boot but forgot to change the boost to 8/9 when I left in the morning    Plus I wasn't 100% confident that past putting the map on my car, that Northampton Motorsport knew what they were doing with the car as they don't work on GTI/Edition 30s that much by their own admission, so thats also why I wanted a low boost just in case 

I just thought it would give me a bit of a power boost for Santa Pod, but I am going to JKM to have the car set-up properly. BTW Northampton Motorsport do have a good reputation so this is not a direct criticism of them, but they aren't experienced with the Mk5 Golf platform.

Suppose thats the only trouble really.. Anyways at least you know you have the option there! When / if you get a stronger clutch fitted..
