It's stopping on icy downhill slopes where DSG is a bit of a worry to me ... what do peeps do in this situation ?

There is a W - winter switch on the GT 170 TDI, I think that one just adjusts the torque output. Don't know if it adjusts the DSG settings though.

lol, i'd have thought i'd have been a good idea to have it on any car with a decent amount of grunt.
