Well I finally picked up my Diamond Black Mk5 on wednesday and havent stopped grinning since
. I have been away from the VW scene for the last two years so its great to be back and even better being back with something as good as this
I have owned many different performance Golfs over the years but this really is something special, the smoothness when the power comes down is just amazing. I threw it into a really tight sweeping corner yesterday at speed and it just lapped it up, not a hint of roll just firmly planted and powered through
.
I guess I have that same feeling I experienced when I bought my first Mk1 GTI many moons ago, so glad VW re-discovered the fun formula again
