Part number request: Arm rest storage bin

Has anyone got the part number for the storage bin in the arm rest? Spoke to VW and they said its discontinued?

I thought there was 12 year parts guarantee.

What's that got to do with a part number...and I don't it's twelve years more like 3 IIRC.

Yes I meant 12 years parts supply from VW after the last one rolls off the production line.

As he said VW told him it was discontinued.

Okay so which piece is it you want, have a look at my thread in the above link, as I got a lot of stuff for my car back in May.

I've got the arm rest with the changer in - the piece i'm after is the storage bin to replace the cd changer hole.

The parts man was saying its discontinued. Maybe i will have to change the whole plastic arm rest mould?

Cheers dude - thats the part number i quoted (from your post). Parts man said it was coming up as discontinued. Will try him again and if not he will get  !!
