small but effective mod

having seen a similiar post i thought i would try this little mod on my car by changing the white reverse lens to a red one out of my old light..i put the orig R32 lights in my car a while ago as you can see in the pic...a small little mod but looks a lot better now

Look great  :congrats: Is it legal? (will people know that you are actually reversing at night?)  Is it still bright enough when reversing? (not that they are very bright anyway)

the lad who does my mots said the reverse light doesn't get tested...not sure how bright is it will be in reverse but it can easyily be changed back if need be for the test

Those poxy reversing lights are crap at lighting up the road behind. I think the only use they have is letting others know you are reversing.

Looks far better in red  :happy2:

Like you said, I'm sure they don't test reverse lights in an MOT.  :happy2:

Don't think it is tested, but it is there to indicate to other road users that you are reversing,
Not sure how an insurance company would view it if someone crashed into you?  :smiley:
