silvervisions
« on: August 23, 2010, 10:45:52 pm »
did a search with just one find but not what i was after..

Do the golfs benefit from installing silvervision indicators? i notice the orange in the headlight and wonder if it is the bulb or a reflector?

My indicators at the front have a small white halogen bulb H21
it is the lense that is orange and you can't do anything about it.
But you can change the yellowy halogen sidelights to LED W5W bulbs,

The silver visions might not be wasted,
Have a look at the rear indicator bulbs they might be the same size as the philips silver visions, PY21W
It might get rid of some of the orange colour from the rear lenses
I hate orange bulbs and reflectors  it's good if you can get rid of them

I'm guessing your car doesn't have xenons fitted.

Then maybe you have the normal large size orange bulb fitted at the front That could be replaced with the silver vision type, But it might not make any differance if the indicator lense is orange.

Fingers crossed there are no orange lenses. I have not got xenons, even though I would like them!!
