Hey Hey!

Had my ED30 Serviced today, feels so much better now, had a major service so oil filters and plugs all changed, incase anyone is interested or not aware, Volkswagen have an offer on at the moment, £299 = 2 Services and 2 MOT's ( 2 years or 20,000 miles )

On fixed servicing now rather than variable, prev. keeper had on variable. Just need to keep an eye on my tyres(even more when i eventually get it re-mapped :wink: ) and front discs but other than that all is great ... Thank god!!  :pomppomp:

glad to hear nothing majorly wrong with your car  :happy2:   may have to take that offer up if its still running if and when i find an ed30  :signLOL:

Thats a really good offer especially if it includes the big 40k service for that price. Shame I just bought all the bits to do it myself  :sad1:

Glad you brought this subject up - i have a quick q boys.

I bought my car at 59,000 miles. The dealer sells used prestige cars and the 2 owners prior to him have been VW
and a big firm company so motorway miles really.

Anyways, he had it services when i bought it (albeit a small one) and im now on 62,000. He gave me a years
warranty on it which is good - my question is, Should i get a full service within the year so if there are any
major problems it will be covered under the warranty?

I know the cambelt is due a change at 60,000 miles....

Cheers any advice would be appreciated!

I know my local dealer in Ruislip, Middx is offering it as I took it out when I got my car serviced!

You will find an Edition 30 Soon enough  :smiley:  just dont rush into it just cos you have money burning in your pocket lol it will be worth the wait, trust me!

Just been told by my local VW dealer that it runs until December this Year, car has to be under 4 years old and no more than 80,000 miles.

I've just asked Lookers VW Preston to send me details of their service plan expecting info on this £299/2 years and i was sent info on a 3 year service plan for £597!!

Confusing!
