So in summary since all the links are away now, some chancer saw a cheap eddie at Motorhouse (£10,495?) and was trying to sell it as his own on ph? For how much? Jeesh. Risky biscuits.

Congrats mate get some pics up asap. And well done for thwarting this muppet.

To summarise as the links have gone Motorhouse had it up for £10495 he put down a holding deposit and posted it up on ph for £11695 having not seen it or paid for it.. he used pics from another pheads advert (which I must confess I reported him for and ph removed the ad :oops:) trying to sell the car as his own. Motorhouse manager was very unimpressed by this and returned his deposit. He then gave me a call asking if I still wanted it at the £10495 price. I'll post some pics on a new thread now as I want to get as much info from you guys as I can before I go to see it on Saturday as my knowledge of the MK5 isn't that great and the Edition 30 even less as never even dreamt I'd be in the market fo one.

What a beautiful car... well done mate.  Very happy for you... now remember, its only 300-400 pounds more for 270/80 bhp and a very fast car indeed  :evilgrin: :evilgrin:

Wow if I thought I could get a 5 door Eddie for that money I'd maybe sell mine and grab one....though what it means for the value of mine is not worth thinking about.... :sad1:
