stage 2+ logs

<< < (2/4) > >>

Janner_Sy:
near identical logs to what i had on my car.  with similar requested rail pressure.  surely the whole reason behind the HPFP upgrade is that you can actually specify the full 130bar and be able to make it.  post up the actual log tables, with N75 duty cycle if you can.

i changed from bluefin for this reason.  it just doesn't perform as well as the others.

wouldnt have a clue why its boosting higher than requested though, not often that you see that

I really can't see that being the problem.

The problem from the looks of it to me is the Map isn't requesting the extra rail pressure.

I would get the car checked over by someone with VCDS (if you don't have it yourself) and see if you have an fault codes then go from there

I wouldn't want to replace the N75 for no reason

no fault codes but from what i have read you wouldn't get a fault code with this issue, i didnt log n75 duty cycle so will do another run and get it posted up asap

vRS Carl:
You may get fault codes which are related to the N75 though which could indicate something wrong

Personally i would suggest it's the map. But for peace of mind check with VCDS

Logging the N75 wont really show much and unless it is sat at 99.6% right the way through the rev range then you aren't going to know if there is anything wrong.

Log Blocks 115, 114 and 230 (in that order using VCDS) as this will show Boost Spec/actual, N75 and Rail Pressure Spec/Actual in that order across the table. It will also put the RPM in the left hand column. Make sure you use turbo mode and if possible do the log in 4th gear.

Post it up then in Table format if you can or PM me and i'll give you my Email

Im going to leave superchips now i think.

I have never dealt with sure a rude company.

Im dealing with a person in the company that is supplying the maps, he emailed me telling me he requires logs using vcds and what blocks to log, i then email back twice asking a very relevant question to be met with no reply.

so i do the logs, and email him back with the logs asking a few questions, offering to go to maybe a RR or something. Got a reply saying your n75 valve needs replacing get back in touch when you have fixed it, no reference to the many questions or information i have asked for.

i emailed them in reply asking for more information, asking if its a best guess scenario or if they are 100% sure, yet again NO reply.

RUDE.

Revo have themselves a new customer.

Janner_Sy:
when i questioned them about the rail pressure being low for a stage 2+ car, he was quite rude as well and told me it was because if the torque on the TFSI goes above 300Ibft it can damage the camshafts.  at which point i assured him he had lost me as a customer.

give shark performance a try mate.  he has a deal on at the moment, i went with him and here was a marked improvment over the bluefin.
this is what you could have  lovely plateau of 270Hp for nearly 2000rpm
and thats on the std intercooler.
