MFSW Buttons
Jons1001:
I tried fitting these to my 08 dsg a few months ago. The buttons worked fine but once fitted my paddles wouldn't work! Had to take the buttons off in the end and the paddles started working again. If anyone had any ideas would be grateful to hear them.

Mine is a late 06 DSG -
I didn't install them by the book - too excited to get them, battery & air bag were still attached - but it did generate faults that cleared in VCDS.
IIRC the buttons just worked and no issues with paddles.
@Gti182 - just do an autoscan in VCDS and then go into each module to clear the faults

Hey @LC5F!
Bumping this; I just installed MFSW buttons on my 07 GTI. I have Cruise Control, DSG and paddles already, but the buttons don't work. No faults, installed them by disconnecting battery and leaving airbag connected (although it was a pain to work around it dangling there haha).
Buttons light up but no buttons work. CC and paddles work perfectly so no difference in that sense.
What's your take - needs coding, or needs new control module?

Genuine MSFW buttons? Lots of fake ones about
Grevling89:
Genuine ones! 100%.
