how to put the rear adjusters in?

i could not work out how the rear adjusters go in.

i tried putting them in on the bottom of the spring but it looks like they will just slide over the place as there is no groove for them to go in?

anyone got a picture of how they should be fitted?

they are from AP coilovers if it helps
