Just got in, good to meet everyone but thats about all that went well. 2 runs all day first ever run was 14.0@111mph and the next was a right balls up, no grip at all.

To say its supposed to be some kind of sticky drag strip i could have done alot better on the road.

60ft time on the first run was 2.67 and only launched at around 1800rpms :confused: The right lane seemed better for grip, well thats my excuse anyways :grin:

its no real surprise. It is end of October! Took them 3 hours to dry and prep.

then the Fix It Again Tomorrow cars broke and dropped liquid, as did the white R5 GTT, as did a Corsa, and maybe some other cars.

But there were plenty of stoppages to make the £25 ticket not very VFM! But that's how RWYB are these days. Lots of old cars turning up and blowing up.

Didnt realise they were cars spilling crap over the track as i spent 4 houre queing :fighting:. Still lost my 1/4 mile virginity and a PB that shouldnt take to much beating :laugh:

I had a wiked day! Met J/poverty at south mims and had a spirited drive to the pod!!

Cued for ages and lost my virginity! Only done 1 run and got 14second flat! Terminal was 100mph.. Can't wait to have it revoed and do some more runs!! Nice to meet you all and good turn out!

Just got in.  :indifferent: am shattered.

Was a bit of a let down for me personally, 3 hour drive down to find that they didnt open the strip till 12!  :surprised: then signed on and went to the back of the que, qued up for 15 mins and didnt move an inch, then said, FCUK THIS! went back to the hut and got my money back!!  :drinking: :sad1: :sad1: santa pod organise'rs need shooting! and what the hell was the deal with letting bikers on all at once to hold the que up even more!!  :stupid: every time ive been before, its been a 5 min wait!!  :confused:

was great to catch up with everyone though  :laugh: oh and i saw 2 fiats broken at the side of the motorway!  :grin:
