Someone mentioned VW warranty the other day on a post and I can't find it, but:
VW replacement parts are covered until the VW warranty expires on the car, ie if you've had them fitted 12 months ago and your has now expired then so has the warrantly on the part and that they are only covered for 12 months!!!
, however if you've paid for the parts yourself then they are covered from the date of fitting for 2 years.
This was confirmed to me by VW Uk this afternoon.
