Good choice to not drive it.

Had another thought to undo the splined bolt you dont have to touch the nut above it. If you tried to undo this it would just bind against the bolt and cause a leak.

well i think its sorted....possibly.

no more leaks...from what i can see but does the fuel pump hiss? or is that some fuel escaping at very high pressure i can hear but cant see?

bollocks.

just cleaned the left nut, and VERY slowly fuel seaps down it, never turns into a drip.....

EDIT: Part no. is WHT 000 285 C listed as an M10X1 Banto Bolt - Will be about £4 :happy2:

Not according to the Pic. I wouldn't think so but it would be best to check with a Stealer when you order a new one :happy2:

Many thanks to all that replied, ended up with a new fuel pump and bolts. I couldn't fit the HPFP internals because I didn't have the correct tools, so just running standard fuel pump at mo, but to be honest I could take that pump off n back on in no time after doing it 10times already. Thanks to s2 ant for the pump and carl for part numbers!

What tools are you missing as the only thing i didn't have was the deep socket. Soon got one though from local tool shop :happy2:

when we done ours with vrSY from here we lost the washer inside the pump which caused a leak, what a ballache but we found it and all went back together fine in the end. its a tiny ting brass washer which makes all the difference
