Hi all , new member here , Ive just done the deal to buy an 05 GTI 3 door in Tornado Red. It has the full leather trim inside ,the CD changer in the centre console and 18" wheels which , after perusing your forum I now suspect are Reps and not the real thing (Monzas but plain silver not diamond cut) unless the previous owner had them refurbed that way I guess. Anyhow , I loved the drive , and its got a full VWSH with 37K on the clock , and I think it looks great! Im moving from a 68BHP Skoda Fabia that Ive owned for 5 and a bit years so it should keep me entertained for a while!!
I have owned 3 VWs before but this is the first one thats had water in the engine
I hope it is as good as my old Octavia Mk1 vRS was to drive , and so far the signs are promising
Anyway , heres a pic taken off my phone when I done the deal , I pick it up next Wednesday (first time ive ever wanted a weekend to go fast!!) so will stick some more up when ive went over it with my Meguiars shaped magic wand!
Oh and Im getting it from Western VW in Edinburgh , through the approved used scheme.
