I’ve spent hours searching the net trying to find a solution to my issue but I don’t seem to be able find one. My issue is actually with a VW Eos but the Eos forums often don’t have solutions and everyone here seems very knowledgeable so I thought I’d ask.
A couple of years ago I upgraded the climatronic control panel on my wife’s Eos. I did lots of research and followed the instructions with swapping the relevant wires. It’s worked fine ever since but recently the battery has been draining if the car has been left for a couple of days. I usually look to diagnose issues myself but on this occasion I’d drawn a blank so took it to a VW specialist. After a couple of days they traced it back to the panel. The drain is frustrating in that its not consistent, sometimes it can be fine for weeks and others it can drain overnight so its difficult to pinpoint. I’d be grateful for any advice anyone may have.
