This is a pic of the most endangered eagle in the USA, not sure of its name, just pointed the camera at it as it flew into the sun and this is what I got. Not the best image quality but one of my favourites

....That's an ace shot! How come you know it's the most endangered if you don't know it's name?

I hope you don't mind but I felt that losing the ground would make it a stronger photo:

I've often tried photographing Eagles when in America and it ain't easy! Well done  :congrats: :congrats:

Actually, on further consideration your original shot still works very well, possibly better.

I like the landscape in the orginal eagle shot, Robin, it adds some context.

Incidentally, the "pose" the eagle is in makes that shot iconic. Hires?

I was on a boat  :P It was the best shot I thought  of the bunch I took, I don't know how I would edit it either. Thanks for the comments though  :happy2:

Here's a few more:

( I wish they were straighter though! Didn't really notice when I took them.)

It was taken on an airboat tour of the florida everglades, the guide told us the name/history of the bird but i wasnt concentrating as i had just blinded myself while trying to take that photo in direct sunlight.
