If I had a DSLR I doubt very much if I would have had it with me and been able to grab that moonscape shot  :P.

It's interesting what the DSLR vs Compact compromises are: Obviously the superior technical quality of the DSLR but I am more of an artist than a technician. Different horses for different courses. As you already know, I greatly admire your skills and your high technical quality approach. If I had your camera gear I'd doubtless seek more technical perfection but I enjoy what I achieve.

My comment was made because I know your thoughts re: dslr/compact, and it was a little bit tongue in cheek because in terms of 'vibe' your photo is great. A DSLR can't help you with feel and vibe, Just like £5k microphone can't make you sound like Stevie Wonder.
