Few small modz on the beggining of the slippery slope

Since owning the gti not reali done much (yet) so thought id start off with something small.
I lamin-xd the front fogs this weekend and then had a little play with some carbon fibre and the rear badge  :signLOL:, just a couple of crappy photos for now

The rear badge, when done properly, looks impressive. Think what you need to do is prise off the metal VW bit, then wrap the entire base in CF and then add the metal VW back on. Would look far better.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

picky  :signLOL: my first attempt and was a sheet of genuine carbon  fibre not a crap wrap (no pun intended)
thanks for the input tho just out of curiosity how does the badge come off also the front one.

The metal bit can be prised off. I've not done mine but others will give you some help.

The front one's a bit easier to do but you can bugger it up easily.  The badge is held in by three clips. Technically, you can push in the badge and turn anticlockwise but this usually breaks one of the clips. A better way is to take off the front grille - two screws at the top, two underneath and lift up. Then you turn the badge and just push in the three clips so you don't break them.

Looks nice so far mate,
I keep meaning to do my rear badge like that, but have no carbon fibre on my car at the moment, know when I do it will be all downhill then!!!
