looks like they all loose about 15 k in the first one, bar the st, have i read it wrong?

I only lost £3000 in the 3 years of owning my vRS from new.  now thats residuals, or maybe an awesome bargain

I don't know if I'm readind them wrong but to me it looks like the gti is loosing about 7k in one year which is totally un realistic, where did you get those graphs ? They look completly wrong to me !

worth every penny, but those depreciation index calculators are no good for desirable performance models.

Just look at the residuals of the audi s3 and rs4 in the classifieds and then compare to the what car index.

The Golf GTI in the graph has 210bhp. Which means it's the MK6 Golf GTI. Which has been out only for a year.

Are these projected depreciations then?

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

I think it's fair to say that every set of statistics and/or graphs are always limited to one perspective and one set of inputs. In other words, they are not reliable or as true as we are given the impression of.

Whatever answer you get to any question, will depend on the detail of the question.
