Show off your motorbikes
« on: June 26, 2011, 06:30:06 pm »
I'm sure there are a few of us on here who have two wheels as well as four. So here's a place to show them off. I'll get the ball rolling with mine:

Alex Barros replica (signed), with far too much money spent.  :signLOL:
Bespoke one-off paint (no vinyl) by EN Design, Carbon mudguards, Akrapovic exhaust, full map by Padgett's, PC3, Galfer wave discs, Goodridge hoses, WP Fork internals, Ohlins PRXLS46 shock, CRG clutch perch, Brembo radial master cylinder & race lever, HRC quick action throttle, K&N air filter, Mad Doctor LED indicators, HRC footpegs, Carbon side panels, NRG tail tidy, Single seat cowl, R&G fork engine & swingarm bobbins, Carbon/kevlar engine armour. And Alex Barros' 2002 leathers.

Not used very often so may be up for sale soon!

HI Andy,

I know where my money went now after reading that list of mods, lol. Looks very nice, you should have pictured it against your Golf they definately would complement each other.

Cheers Derek . I'm being conservative with what I've listed, there's more  :signLOL: I just wanted something different from the common Repsol replica. Then it turned into an obsession/money pit. Just like our cars do

Love it mate, Very nice bike, with some very tasty parts :congrats:

You from Yorkshire? you mentioned Padgetts thats all. I got all my Honda's from P&D in Wakefield  :happy2:

I too loved Honda. (well all bikes really)  :notworthy:

My bikes were as follows,

CBR600F (99)
CBR600F (03)
CBR600RR (03)
CBR1000RR Repsol(54)

Then I couldn't ride sport bikes anymore for some reason  :ashamed: but I wasn't going to let nearly losing my right foot put me off. Thing is I couldn't bend my foot enough to stand on the pegs  :sad1:

If I wanted another bike I had to get a cruiser,(feet out front) and before you flame me, I really didn't like the idea myself. But if the truth be told I spent alot of time on the bike with the misses and her mum and dad were into their Harley Davidson. We often went out to HD events and rideouts and TBH I secretly enjoyed myself.

So when I heard that the HD Vrod did 0-60 in 3secs, I thought why not go for a test drive.
So I bought a new VRSCB, and I loved it  :happy2:

Harley Davidson V-rod (06)

Unfortunatley after another accident in Oct08 the bike was written off, and I was very nearly too. I had lots of injuries this time (all my right side) and I'm very lucky to be walking again.

...so I'm leaving bikes for a few more years.  :innocent:

not got many photo's that I can get hold of really but here are a few....

Funny, I had a yellow CBR F1, great bike. I certainly won't knock the Hog; a friend of mine went from an R1 to a V Rod & loved it.
