A new turbo for my last Golf (140 GT TDi Sport) cost £1100 from Hawco Volkswagen! Though you can pick up reconditioned ones for alot cheaper!!

Ouch £1100? I havent heard any siren noises or anything like that, around what mileage are they usually expected to go? I'll hopefully be taking her in for a service at the dealers soon, is it something they can look for during the service and check for me?

Thanks
It as a sore one ! The bill ended up being just over 3k!!!

It's one of the reasons I want rid Robbin. I've always believed diesels
To be uber reliable, but the both I've bought for work have been lemons. I'm gonna go v6 or Gti soon

....V6 is a great sound  :happy2: Our 2.0T FSI 4-pot sound can be greatly improved with a performance aftermarket exhaust.

You'll need to change your "Go diesel" sig!

Shame about the mk5 TDIs, the mk4s TDI can easy see over 120k on the stock turbos, even with hard abuse and maxed out.
