What age are you looking at?

My opinion is they are good cars but its just not an R32!!! But then again they can be found for alot cheaper than an R32.

My impression was that it was a posh cruiser.  Compared to an S3 it had a better ride and was much less sporty.  That might be a good thing, as an S3 in a bright colour can be a bit 'look at me'.  It made a nice noise as well.  I guess as ever with cars it's a case of each to their own.

I test drove one a few years back when changing my 8L S3, as the new S3 wasn't out then, and although it was a lovely car it just wasn't sport enough for my liking. So I ended up buying a mk5 GTI and look where that got me,  fuk1n skint
Seriously though thay are a nice car and can be had for decent money, I have since wondered if the engine is the same as the R32 you could turbo it and have a proper sleeper :happy2:

On all the reviews I've read it's said there's only one trim level.
And all the ones I've seen are s-lines. But maybe I'm wrong, if so then I'll keep searching. But sort you're attitude, I don't appreciate your tone

I too looked at these and they aren't a bad car at all. Like the R32 they upgraded from 237bhp to 247bhp engines later on and they are the ones to go for unless you want to save on the old road tax.

I know they did a sport. :happy2:
