True - still ugly but same insurance group than our mk5's at a 17 too for a 3.0 litre twin turbo is tempting!

Possible replacement for the Ed30 for me. Still to drive one though so that'll be the decider.. Quick map and 360 ponnies, so should go well and I think I would leave it at that.. Well maybe..

What for?

Save your money and remap the 135i. Makes it just a tad quicker by all accounts

I have driven a fair few of these and mapped even more...... Great car just watch out for newer ones that are actually single turbo! The twin turbo engine is brilliant. I was so close to buying one but then saw sense and bought a 335d which is far more practical, cheaper to run and insure and put out 348bhp and 600ft/lb after a fair bit of dyno work and mapping.

The engine is a peach 3 Ltr Stright 6 Bi-Turbo (they put the twin turbo's into one double sided unit) should map to around 400hp but kiss your warranty goodbye. BMW do performance parts for 135 & 335 which I'm looking at.

On the 135 they have also just included a bucket and brown paper bag as standard.  :signLOL:

Not all are the twin (or Bi) turbo as later engines were revised to be single turbo. Juts be sure to double check. and then buy a 335

Apparently it gives better MPG than 2 individual turbos, started on the face lift 335 from May 2010. Amazingly I have seen 40mpg  :happy2:
