RNS-510 Gloss Black Surround Discolouration??
« on: September 11, 2010, 06:47:55 pm »
Has anyone experienced discolouration to the gloss black surround on their RNS-510's? It's appears to be a greyish colour.  Its not dirt as I tried cleaning it off, but its in the plastic in itself.

Certainly no issues with mine.  If it's just a slightly marred finish, you'll probably find a plastic polish like meguires plast x will bring the shine back!

Well my unit came from Lithuania. was fine when I took it out of the box and installed it, peeled the plastic cover off and used water to take off the residue at the bottom. The next day I see this greyish colour appear in the corner.

Not sure if that Meguiar's PlastX will work, its looks within the plastic itself, not on the surface.
