stop driving crap cars and just buy an ed30 stop F ing about   :popcornsoda:
Im partial to a test pilot or two  if i buy k04 its not going to be a golf.   it'd be a cupra, or S3.  need to save a little more.

i need to try a stage 2 cupra with LSD i think.  driven the red temptress, but the roads were sopping, and the car was squirmingall over the place trying to get grip

the red one is running a supersh1t map thats not the best and the diffs also needs changing on that car as i think its a little suspect as grips lots more than that car in the wet and in the dry and does have a diff  :rolleye:

after getting out my vRS(at stage2+)  into the red temptress the first thing i said to tfsi_mike was is this k03 or k04 because it really wasn't that much different.  do you mean your car grips better?

They are about 100KG heavier than an S3 so with 300 horses it would sound about right being the same speed.

how heavy is the s3 mate :surprised:?

I thought the vectra weighed the same as a p & o ferry, at least it handles like one  :signLOL:

could well have been either the older 252Hp or 280hp version. they are 1580kg so power to weight of 159Hp/ton and 177Hp/ton respectively as standard.

S3 weighs 1495kg with 261Hp so power to weight of 174Hp/ton  so theres not much in it between them

they seem to map well though

this is thorney motorsports on a 280 VXR

huge midrange gains and 420Ibft isnt to be sniffed at either
strange though looking over all the VXR tuners graphs, they all peak at about 3.5-4.5k and then tail off, unlike the TFSI which peaks at about 6.5k

Well built and quattro = weight!

Done the low weight/low power car combo already = Big power/well built and comfy FTW!

thought they were much more than that, my clio was 170 per tonne! cant see how a map could make it as fast as k04 stage 2+ :signLOL: it would need another 100bhp

i said it wasnt too far off being as fast.  and i believe without even looking back at the thread i placed the perofrmance as inbetween a stage 1 and 2 k04.

looking at that graph it echos what i felt.  stage 1 k04 makes 280-300Hp at say 6k+Rpm.  this is already making that at 3600rpm-6300rpm.   the GTI/cupra would have the weight advantage though
