used to use the autobahn everyweek until this time last year.  that and all the track work is why i never u the car up for sale on any forum.  it spent alot of time working very hard

my vRS which has a better drag coefficient than the GTI was pretty much maxed out at just over 172 no way was there another  14mph, and considering they share the same gear box id agree with RR tbh.  more power wont make more speed, its the gearing thats the limiting factor, more power will make it reach the vmax quicker thats all

I would have agreed, but according to the UAE prince its possible, his limiter has probably been raised a fair bit though.

His cars on youtube, its good to watch.

EDIT,

Hes on a dsg box, dont know what difference that has on gearing!

I think if you have the oomph for it you will hit 186mph on the limiter too with the 2.0TFSI. Well thats what the uae prince claims anyway with his 500hp TT.
No way, everyone knows a GTI will do 200mph with a remap and some furry dice
