cheap car

so iv been lookin for a cheap car ...wtf...1500 for a old puma with rust...i cant belive how little you get for your cash these days...some cars iv looked at up to 3k have just been minging , is it just me but 3k feels like a big wedge of cash :sick:

Cant get much for your dollar these days. A mate of mine picked up a cheap run about and its been spot on. £500 Y reg Fiesta with 120k on it. Had a new clutch and a few other bits done along with MOT aswel.

i picked up a old saxo diesel at work  for £150 tested for 9 months and 1 months test

mk2 golf is the way to go.  a few grand will get you a taxed and tested one that should be in good nick.  plus they are easy to maintain, no need for diagnostic computers and stuff.

get a well looked after mk3, mk2 not many decent ones about now bar Neg's fine one.

My bloke just got a 2001 Fiesta Zetec S which he is going to turn into a track car for just under 3k with 68,000 miles on!
