Hello everyone!
« on: September 15, 2010, 08:24:27 pm »
Hi guys just a quick post to introduce myself. My name is Davey and I have just bought a red Edition 30. Had a 2007 M3 V8 previously,
but got fed up with shelling out more on the car each month than my mortgage repayments! The Edition is a Sept 07 car with 21000 miles.
Feels a bit slow compared to the M3, but hopefully a few tasteful mods will sort that problem

Welcome Dave.

There's certainly a range of things you can do to make it 'feel' as fast as the M3 and perhaps quicker in a straight line. The K04 really is a monster waiting to be unleashed.
The gang will be along to advise no doubt  :happy2:

Your right mate it wont. I have no plan to try to make it as fast as the M3, just a little more fun to drive. Revo stage 1 should do for starters  :happy2:

Hi Davey, welcome along matey  :happy2: Start having a look through some of the build threads to get a feel for K04 based mods. Sounds like you are on a slipperly slope already  :signLOL:

Hi and welcome!
Where are the mandatory pics?

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

^^^^
That's exactly the BMW I would love to have had and it's even in red! I needed the practicality of the 5-door hatchback though.

Thanks for posting the pics  :notworthy:
