when I had dsg issues on my old ed30 I used to do the dsg reset alot as it seemed to temporary fix my jerky gear box, however after a chat with a master tech at vindis vw he advised me strongly against doing it, told me just to leave it and it would gradually improve... if not then you need a new mechatronics box and if that doesn't help then complete new box

with a car as new as yours if your having issues already then take it to the stealers and get them to look at it rather than playing with vagcom, and don't mention that you've been resetting it yourself or you might land yourself with an expensive bill

im no expert on it but was just advised what I mentioned, the dsg box adapts to your driving style so by resetting it you are just pro-longing the adaption and have to start all over again

just drive it like you stole it in M mode, using the full rev range and then downshiffting to brake like you would in a manual and im sure it will improve

its when you start kangarooing coming to stop and lurches when puilling off that you have a mechy problem

get up early one morning on the weekend, 5-6am and go for a blast on your fav roads  :driver:

I try and do it at least once each weekend as I don't drive during the week, the roads even heading out of london are pretty much empty, rarely see any pigs and even the pesky bikers bikers don't seem to venture out until 9-10am

its like a playground all to yourself, just play safe
