Dont use lockers all the way round, just  per wheel as said. They are not designed to be tightened as much as the normal bolts! Worst case is that the bolts get nicked again but getting the wheels (obviously the expensive bit) off will be a lot harder!

ok, thanks for your advice people. I will prob now only use one locking bolt per wheel and hope no more go missing.
ps... If McGuard ultras are a bit a nightmare, which other ones would you recommend instead?

Do you have the plastic covers on your bolts? Did the remaining 2 bolts still have the covers on?

Thieves remove the bolts then come back for the wheels later so they can throw them straight into a car/ van - happened to my sisters car

the remaining two bolts did have their covers on. do you think that means that they were more likely to have been left loose and fallen out rather than stolen?

Possibly?
I guess if the missing bolts + covers weren't near the car then they could have fallen out, if a thief had removed them they would probably leave them nearby (maybe thrown over a wall)?
