« on: February 06, 2009, 05:03:25 pm »
long shot really, I've asked on the Audi forums with no response , recently got a Blackberry Storm phone thingy and when I connect it to the factory bluetooth in the car on intial dial up when making a call I get really bad feedback through the cars speakers, once the call connects its fine, any ideas anyone?

As I said in your PM Gaz you might be able to adjust some of the settings with VCDS.  There is one about delay time which IIRC is to help with interferance.

When you look in the adaptation channels there are only a few at around 128 to 136, VCDS will give you the label descriptions for them.

have you tried connecting after turning the volume down on your phone to about the 1/3 volume level?
could also possibly be the mic in the car is too close to your phone when connecting creating infinate gain feedback ( A level electronics is flooding back  :scared: ) but saying that if other phones have been fine
