Matthew's TR 2005 GTI Thread.
« on: September 21, 2010, 05:47:23 pm »
Hi guys, picked the car up a few days ago, and I am hugely impressed with it. Completely different to the Clio Sport 182 I had previously.

Thought I would start this thread so I can post a few pictures as and when the mods happen  :happy2:

Current plans are, (when funds allow) upgrade the wheels to 18" Monza's and to half colour-code the rear valance.

Thanks for looking, Matt.

Love the car mate. Did you know it was pink when you bought it?
Just kidding. TR doesn't photo that well.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Yeah I'm sure it will really transform the car. Saving for the cambelt/waterpumb and a major service at the moment, so the mods will have to wait lol

Nice looking motor, when I was looking for mine I was favouring Red I think it is definitely one of the best colours.. I really wish I could have gone for a 3 door as well but with babies to get in and out it was just soo not practical... give it a few years and I'll be on the hunt for a 3 door for sure.

Did you notice much difference with the new DV ?

Looks like you got a very tidy car, looking forward to seeing it with the Monza II's, did you keep the old DV would be good to see a pic of the diaphragm.

Howdy mate.

Car looking good and it'll look a thousand times better with the 18's and the rear bumper colour coded. By far the best colour too
