Battery Chargers - Talk to me

Gonna start using rechargeable batteries around the house and am looking for a well recommended charger.

What ya got and why is it good/bad??

If you want a Rolls-Royce charger then you want one that can condition batteries. This:

is the prefered option in long distance cycling circles.  But I freely admit that you'd have have to be using a /lot/ of batteries to invest in one.
