Magnex Exhaust
« on: September 23, 2010, 11:08:31 am »
So, I've got a Magnex sat in the garage that I've had since the beginning of the year. I've not got round to fitting it yet. It's a non-res cat-back.

I've had Magnex in the past on 205 gti's and a scooby - In all cases, they were decent quality and sound.

Does anyone have first-hand experience of a Magnex on a Mk5 gti ??

I want to liven the dull sounding 2.0T up a bit... but also have 2 little kids, don't want it to drone at motorway speed or sound like tit when not booting it.

So Fit, or Flog ???

Cheers
Ben

I would stick it on,
I am talking to a guy off e bay who makes the Magnex exhausts. I want a different backbox for my motor, as currently have the unsightly R32 style exhaust and the backbox hangs down miles, Magnex ones look much smarter,
Would you reccomend I get them to stick a resonated centre section on, or would that make it too quiet?

I was under the impression Magnex went bust a couple of years ago. Are they back in business again?
