which pcd adapters do i need ? is width a problem ?
« on: September 13, 2010, 10:14:24 pm »

Ive got perfectly good / little bit scuffed set of  monza team dynamics 100+ 18" sitting in the garage from my much loved and missed mk4 golf  :sad1: :sad1:

thinking bout switching them over from these,

and saving them for winter tyres as the ones on the team dynamics 1s have low profile tyres

that said I have found out I need some pcd adapters

Question is:

I think for MK4 golf to MK5 golf I need  :   5x 100 to 5 x 112    but not sure if its that way or the other way round,

Also have been looking for some on ebay and there seems to be another measurement I need to know in 'mm'  ?

any ideas?   :confused:

nice 1!

MKIV = 100mm PCD

MKV = 112mm PCD

 :smiley:

I'm sure you know this already.

You just need to phone Awesome GTI up and ask :happy2:

Cheers Hurdy,  :happy2:

having confirmed the correct pcd adapters i need,

i have been told that because of the extra width the adapters takeup, this would leave my wheels coming out of the arches, meaning MOT failure.

any ideas, anyone fitted mk4 wheels onto a mk5   ?
