Couple of bits went on today.

H&R front arb

superpro ball joints... ended up with about -1'50" camber

front wishbone super pro bush

Also re-greased my rear arb for the eleventy-millionth time!  :fighting:

Nice work! How does she drive now Rich?
ARB's, superpro bushes, SALK, & ali front arms made a world of difference to mine. Maybe should have done it in stages to appreciate each change, but still, all well worth it!

I've noticed a bit of noise from the front ARB on mine, so had that lubed again, but never heard the rear. Was it squeaky, or just a bit rumbly?

Rear arb just 'groaned' over speed bumps.

Car drives great. There is a small increase of harshness over poor tarmac at low speed, but at normal driving speeds its as good as gold. The arb has tightened up the front end very nicely. Ball joints... to early to say... not had chance to twat it yet.

Is it possible the "Harshness" is the ball joints?

I've contemplated having the front ARB fitted as well while Alex fits the downpipe in the new year.....It's about the only mod left to do.

Then again, that pesky Golf R estate has locked it's sights on me and I just can't shake it off!!!

A5 platform always had high compliance bushes so changing them will create a bit more harshness
Man up.  :happy2:

Turns outs the knocking front, was the result of a few subframe bolts working themselves loose.... I think Alex used a bit too much anti seize compound :signLOL:

Anyway.... Drives like a dream now. Front end grip since the  ARB and ball joints have gone on is epic.... and it was pretty good before.  :driver:

Sounds a worthy dual addition Rich  :happy2:

If I went ARB and TT ball joints on mine, would I notice an improvement, or is it coupled with other mods you've done?

Yes I believe you would, it's quite subtle but it's there.
